A chat with Our Founder ~ Mrs. Pallavi Singhee

Q. How did You come up with this idea and start this brand? Honestly, the idea of Elastic Fitted Bedsheets is not mine. It’s been in the markets abroad for decades. I received one as a gift in the 90s. My husband bought one for me from one of his business trips. As a family into garment exports, it did not take us much time before we figured out the designing and production. I made a few pieces for personal use, and for family and friends. The brand was established in the year 2014, almost two and a half decades after already being in regular use. I was intrigued by this concept and as a mother of two and a dog mom. These bedsheets were a blessing – No Wrinkles; No Adjustments required every use; Machine Washable. Q. Why establish the brand after such a long time? Change of Perspective…! Earlier considered a luxury item, after Covid-19 it had become a necessity. Ease of use, Machine Washable, Durable – these all drove us to produce in bulk and we have sold many hundreds of pieces without branding and mostly amongst our known near & dear ones only. Customer Appreciation and the constant enquiries made us want to reach out to as many households / mothers as possible. Q. What is the USP of your product vis-à-vis other similar bedsheets? Our sheets are made to fit like a 'Sanchaa' (mold) on your mattress ; Pure Combed Cotton – Naturally cool & comfortable ; Like one of our youngest customer says – “Fits Like a Fondant on Cake” !!! Our range of Printed bedsheets is Handcrafted Block Prints and we pride ourselves in working with local artisans & preserving/promoting our heritage while helping them embracing change and take it forward.
